Couldnt pass this up. Cabelas has a smoking deal on the LCP-LaserMax pistols for $349 starting this morning (I was there at 9:15 and they were selling them quickly). That is kindof soso on price, you can find similar priced deals if you wait and watch. What made it great through is I got a flier in the mail a bit ago that gives me another $20 off a firearm purchase there. Add onto that $30ish in cabelas points... a brand new laser pistol for under $300 was too good to pass up. I've been eyeing these and researching them for 5 months now and finally decided to jump on it. Only bad part is the background check took FOREVER it seemed, easily +2 hours... even with a ccp.

It surely wont be a range gun, but it is pretty spiffy to slip in a pocket. New guns are always fun!

Dallan, I carry my LCP a lot. I generally forget its in my pocket until I start into some place where I can't carry it. With the laser I find 1.5" groups at 15 yards to be pretty easy.

A LCP is my back-up gun. Love it.

Keep us posted on how you like it. I've been thinking of one for those occasions where appropriate dress makes carrying my Kahr difficult.

Probably going to with this fake "zipper" holster, googling around alot of people sure love it.

My favorite pistol to carry is my XD40... but when I cant the LCP sure is nice.

That is a very nice looking piece of kit Dallan. As Gelan says...almost impossible to get one out here...and even harder to justify.

Looking at the pics of the holster, it looks like it would be a "shoot through" in a pinch...would save precious micro seconds when needed. Great option if it is designed that way.
