I would love to be able to run on a Mac without windows.
Then I could retire my old HP laptop

You could always run a virtual machine on your Mac.
This would let you "install" any operating system on it, then just click an icon on the screen to start it up and use all the good software that Mac users miss out on.

As I said I don't want windows on the laptop. I live with the limitations of programs for my Mac book air. But I also live with all the things windows trys to copy. I have a HP for windows, but prefer to carry the Mac no weight to it at all. Thanks for the thoughts
