One of my coworkers just got back from NZ and really enjoyed it! I'm just a bit jealous!

Be assured that should you venture to this great land of ours
1. there will always be a bed and food on the table here.
2. you will be blown away by how beautiful each Island is and the contrasts
3. that goes for any "nut" travelling down under.

He said he was somewhere in/near Hawke Bay. 18 hours on the plane...

Thats about 4.5 - 5hrs by road through some beautiful country from here.
Google Napier city and thats about where he would have landed.
LAX to Auckland is about 12 hrs then add an hour for a flight he must have had some lag time in Auckland.
Nice part of the country but a shite load of bad boys, main stronghold of the Mongrel Mob in NZ

Radar, sorry, I didn't make that very clear. It took him 5 hours from NC to CA, then 12-13 to NZ and another hour to wherever he ended up.
