It seems that very few folks sell blackpowder around here. The ones that do was a second mortgage for a can of Goes FFG. I called Graf & Sons and ordered 25 lbs. assorted for less than $14.00 a can. Looks like I am good to go for a long time. Take care...

Hi Joe,
You have the right idea. When you find it buy it in bulk and store it well so it does not go bad on you. Many black powder firearms just shoot better with black powder or the substitutes are just not recommended for certain firearms. I own muzzleloaders that require black powder or the preferred recommendation is a substitute. All work well at their intended application.
