Colorado GMU 4, 441,214,14

Has anyone ever hunted the colorado region in and around the Routt national forrest? We have been hunting Wyomng the past few years and decided to go to learn Colorado. We sure would like some advice on hunting these areas for Mule Deer.

I have heard that there are plenty of Elk to be found as well and we are hoping to scout these animals as well.

We are hunting the second rifle hunt.

How did you do? Sorry I just joined this site or I would have answered sooner hope you steered clear of the moose ha ha. where did you hunt? I'm a native I know the area pretty well.
