Oh I see. Smile

I got to admit my gun cabinet is locked the moment I take out the keys from the lock, and only kept open when removing/putting in guns. Don't really keep it unlocked much. Smile

Bushy, the press and priming tool have showed up here. I haven't had time to mount the press but I plan to do it one day this week. I like the little press so much, I am thinking about getting another one just to decap primers before cleaning. It is a lot better press than I had anticipated. It is strong, and the ram is nice and tight without any slop. It is amazing for $20!

Be aware that if it is the same one that I have that it can not withstand resizing large rifle cases. It does make a good odd job press though.

Bushy, I wasn't going to resize the brass, just get rid of the spent primer (decapping) only. It doesn't take a lot of pressure from the press to do that. I tumble the used brass before resizing and getting rid of the spent primer helps keep my media cleaner. Also, the tumbled brass si cleaner and has less chance of scratching my dies.

I have one of them little presses with a cast bullet sizeing die set up for 452 bullets. Works great for that.

Like I said...It's a great "odd job" press. I use mine for resizing/decapping handgun cases and priming all cases. I resize/decap my rifle cases on the turret press.

Bushmaster, the guy standing at your reloading room door's window has a tummy ache. How did that happen?

In other words, details please on how that nice grouping on the E target ended up there. Revolver or pistol? Distance?

p.s. thanks for your shotgun comment.

On topic: I use a Lee hand-held (am new to reloading) and happy with it thus far. Last week came close to priming the same brass twice, but felt the resistance so eased off on the squeeze. Guy teaching me says to think and look first instead of forcing things.

WRT priming safely, also trained myself to prime while brass neck is aimed away from my face/body, in case one goes off.

Twofifty

That guy is my qualification target for my CCW. I had to qualify with a semi-auto and a revolver. I used my Colt 1911 .45 ACP and my S&W mod 19 .357 magnum. Had to run 20 shots with each as fast as you could accurately. The distance was 21 ft. The two holes outside and to the right were caused by someone coming up behind me and mentioning the same thing you did, "Wow! He ain't goin' to have a heart"...Causes me to pull two shots...Still scored 199 of 200 possible...
