Hi Guys, I am sorry this late. Remington 700 CDL in the Jack Oconnor caliber is great (277).
I had the factory remington clip system installed and the 24" barrel makes this rifle complete.

Glad to hear it and I think you will like the weapon!!! I am currently trying to work up a load for 130 gr bullet. Once I get my range completed I will work up loads for upto 165, if I can find them:)

Hi vint2, I have been loading the 130 gr. for a number of years and have used only one powder and that is IMR 4350. This has worked well with a number of different makes of bullets. Nosler, hornady, speers and sierra.
I have never used the barnes TSX but will likely be giving that a try as well.
I am interested in the 140 Nosler AB as well.
I hope to get drawn for antelope this year and I have bought some 110 gr. sierras but have not worked on any load yet as I know that I could use the 130 gr and it would work fine for prairie goats as well.

My favorite propellant for the .270 is Reloder 22. I am getting 3200 FPS with 130 grain SST out of a 22 inch barrel

Hi Dear Sniper, The weapons you have show are beautiful but at my age I would need 10 men and a boy to carry it for me.
I just recently bought a Savage FLV and put a B & L 4000 elite on top of it and then a bipod. I am now waiting for Savage to come out with a wagon to haul it around.
I am not sure if you have personally made your weapons or have had them made, but if you made them you have a great talent.
I have not been to Oklahoma but my nephew has been down there a few times to buy roping horses, he advised me that it is similar to Saskatchewan so I know that there can be some long shooting.

sask boy,

thank you...

The rifle pictured weighs 29 pounds...

I built the gun myself and have been building rifles and hunting handguns for 24 years now...

If you would like to see a couple of the other rifles that I have built, let me know and I'll post a couple more pictures....

Deer Sniper, why not consider putting together a Photo Album here in HuntingNut mate.....will allow you to post more pics and make them easier for all to see.
