This could be related to the SSL certificate change I recently made. Let me look into it.

Yea, its the SSL... it needs to be "https" instead of "Http". Use this link until I get the PointBlank page link fixed:

Is your provider blocking anything or anti-virus? I just downloaded it fine on two different computers.

Always the same issue. See the attached, this is what I get, my antivirus do not block it, it was working fine 2 weeks ago.

The same message I get too.

Ohhhhhh... the downloader tool has a connection issue. LOL I thought the issue was downloading the patcher itself.

Alright, I'll have to dig into this deeper.

I found the issue. PointBlank also has the same SSL connection issue when trying to validate the PBPatcher program.

I think I have a fix. Running tests... will have a fix either tonight or sometime tomorrow.

Sadly, because it cant automatically connect to patch itself... everyone running the software will probably have to manually update their PBPatcher program by downloading a replacement directly of the website.

Ok this seems to be working. The primary issue was the patcher and pointblank were compiled with older versions of windows .net librarys. I've now updated them to use 4.5 vs the older 2.0 that has issues with SSL connections.

I'm extremely annoyed, as I put alot of work into the automatic updating process and the website SSL upgrade has broken both the PBPatcher and the PointBlank programs.

This means all users who want to update, will need to download a new PBPatcher utility and place it in whatever folder they want PointBlank installed into. I'm going to have to make both a forum announcement as well as one on the main page to let people know about this.

The updated PBPatcher can be downloaded from either the download page, or by using this URL:

PS: I'm going to let you guys verify this works for you all... if it does, then I'll make the general announcements. There's a chance something else is broken in there I've missed that I may also need to fix.
