Does anyone have any experience or opinion on 270 WSM. I read there can be issue with loading. Other articles indicate that this is not an issue.

I hope it's not an issue....I just bought one in a Savage. Pray I haven't started hand loading for it yet (in fact, I haven't even shot it yet. I plan on buying some factory stuff for it first to see which kind/weight of bullet it likes best before I start working up a load for it. Most of its use will see hunting situations where the shots will be less than 200 yards, so I think I still should be okay, even if it is particular and it takes me a while to satisfy it.

There was an issue with the extractor spring that i can recall...but that's it. It is an easy fix and not very costly Cool
