In a local news story:
"MOUNT CARMEL — The family of a kindergarten student in Northumberland County is thinking about filing a lawsuit after their five-year-old was suspended from school. The family’s attorney says she was suspended because she threatened to shoot herself and a classmate with a Hello Kitty bubble gun.

A pink Hello Kitty bubble gun is the reason a five-year-old girl was suspended from kindergarten at Mount Carmel Area Elementary School. Her family’s attorney says she was at her school bus stop last week when she told a classmate she was going to shoot her and herself with the bubble gun…a gun she did not have with her. People in the community can’t believe it."

Hasn't this taken things just a bit too far? But there is more to this story than meets the eye. It is but a small example of the attack we are under from the left and their weapon of choice in this case is political correctness.

I was shot with a PEZ dipenser when I was younger, can I sue?
I really enjoyed it though so maybe I should just get one and shot myself over and over.

I tend to think it is a "revenge of the nerds" happening..
I do not think a person in charge of an organisation such as a school is so intellectually deficit.
Maybe the parents of the girl have done some "injustice" ..

Maybe you are right Gelan...there seems to be more to this than meets the eye.

Maybe there is a dispute of some sort between the two families, maybe the school has a beef with the parents. Whichever way...it is an absolutely ludicrous state of affairs and someone needs to be bought to task because of the obvious waste of money involved for everyone.
