Actually Vint, I'm alittle upset at that test, has less to do with Canadian History and more to do with current affairs. Mad

I scored 8400, didn't know the number of representatives in the house of representatives and I said the right to bear arms was the most important. Oh well...

Tracker, you did better on the US test than I did on the Canadian test!!
Looks like we could all stand to know our neighbors a little better!

Well than if we need history lessons on our neighbors lets start with Cinco de Mayo is not the day that the sink filled with mayonise. It was battel not their independence day. Very Happy

Oh sorry, weight, you ment Canada. According to my students they are part of the US since we don't have barbwire fences between us and them. Their the 51st state.

Around here I get Chicano studies right along with California history.

No offense to any Americans on this board that may take offense. But history has shown more then once in armed conflict with the United States that we didn't need a lousy fence to show that we are not and will not be your 51st state. Laughing

Joe,

I got no problem with most American's I've met (guess its cause I stick to gun/outdoor forums and the like), its more the idea of having Canada taken over which is the issue. Wink

Actually I must admit I've thought about moving to the US before but to a more "out of the way" area, and I might in the future. You know come to think of it I could actually fast track my way into the US and acquiring citizenship if I really wanted by going to get Bushy's old job. Laughing

Hay no offense taken. Been to Canada once and would like to go back. And I understand the country pride. It's just that to some of my wounderful little students (man I hate that sarcasm doesn't come across on computers) it's the 51st and Mexico is the 52nd.
Plus the comment was a joke. I think that I should know more about other countries and end my ethonocentric view on life.
