I live way out in the country. I have no idea what's going on in the two major cities. They are way up north of me and I'm 60 miles east of Springfield. Need more information.

The couple in St. Louis that was defending their private property. It looks like the police showed this time and they had their own security. Good for St. louis taking care of tax paying citizens.

I have been away from the site for a while, just retired in Dec and had a retirement cruise in Jan. Got back in time for the lockdown. Now all this hits. I guess I am saving money because we had planned to travel quite a bit after retiring. I guess that is on hold for a while. It is good to be back.

Not only that, but the sheriff of this county wants everyone to carry a gun. Says it makes his job much easier.

It would be a very silly person that tried to cause mischief at Bushy’s place. Apart from the dogs, they would have to deal with Bushy and his SWMBO...it wouldn’t be a pretty sight when done and dusted. And heaven forbid if Larry and his SWMBO decided to assist.

From KSDK News in St. Louis:

Law enforcement officials in St. Louis have allegedly served a warrant on the St. Louis couple who recently defended their home when a large mob of angry demonstrators allegedly trespassed onto their private property.

“5 On Your Side has learned St. Louis police officers executed a search warrant Friday evening at the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the Central West end couple who confronted protesters with weapons in June,” KSDK News reported. “Sources tell 5 On Your Side police seized one of the weapons, the rifle, from the couple and they told police their attorney has the pistol seen in photos.”

My wife and I talked to the Lt Governor last night at a Republican get-together. He said that they were in no danger of retaliation from local government. Are you saying I need to have another discussion with the Lt Governor?

Hm...it makes me wonder what the Police Chief is up to and in what direction his sympathy’s actually lie. He hasn’t been seen on bended knee by any chance has he?

They confiscated his property without reimbursement when no crime was committed and no arrest was made. I think that qualifies as theft and since they were armed that makes it robbery. I think their lawyer is going to be getting richer.
