panadol is now the "in short supply thing" and its globaly aparently...guess we will have to chew on some willow bark when next we get headache!!! SWMBO went and got groceries today (the fortnightly shop) plenty of pooh paper in stock again.

If you run out of "pooh paper" just get a stick. They are re-usable.

Bum Fodder or Date Roll has not been around for that long...what did they use before then...a handful of grass, leaves, their hand...anything available. I feel certain that if you run outa toilet paper, you will work out a way to do the “cleanup”.

The even crazier thing is now that the supply stabilised a little, a lot of those that are panic buying are now trying to return them toilet paper to the stores.
Guess what, the stores are now refusing to refund
Serve them right, filling their spare rooms and garage with TP

Yes mate, unfortunately. The WHO officially declared Corona Virus a worldwide pandemic today. Italy have shut the country down and closed all their borders and are second to China with the number of infections and deaths. Strange how we are not hearing anything much out of the Asian countries.

The Chinese must accept the bulk of the responsibility for the global spread of this virus. Untold numbers of Chinese students and those visiting China left the country, flying to other Asian countries, then allegedly spent 14 days in self quarantine (except when they wanted to go out for any reason), they then flew on to their planned destination. When I went to the Brisbane International Terminal to pick up our daughter who flew home from London at the end of February, the place was wall to wall Asians, all masked up, who flew in from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Densapar Indonesia and Japan...there were hundreds of them. Our Universities claimed to be losing millions of dollars because of the virus affecting overseas students and now they are having problems because amongst those that arrived were contagious students.

Methinks this pandemic is going to raise a massive number of questions, many of which we will never hear the answers to because certain Govts will keep quiet about what has transpired with their borders...can’t give out secrets, can we.

Whichever way it goes, as Pete said, it’s gonna be a rough ride.

Yep.

I'm looking after my 90 yo mum & pretty much isolating myself from anyone else - one late night trip to the shops a week, with alcohol based disinfectant wipes for trolley handles & enough change to ensure I can tender the exact amount & not have to accept stuff others have handled.

After that, it's all down to luck...

I don't believe the Chinese either, when they claim the numbers being infected are falling.

you guys still got some panadol/paracetamol in the cupboard???? thats going off shelves really fast as supply comes from china so folk have panic bought that too now.... time to chew on a willow branch if you get a headache....
