Five young Middle Eastern men were apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol this week in an Arizona town situated about 30 miles from the Mexican border, law enforcement and other sources told Judicial Watch.

Border Patrol agents spotted the men crossing a ranch property in the vicinity of Amado, which is located about 35 miles south of Tucson and has a population of 275. Two of the Middle Eastern men were carrying stainless steel cylinders in backpacks, JW’s sources say, alarming Border Patrol officials enough to call the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for backup. A multitude of federal agents descended on the property and the two men carrying the cylinders were believed to be taken into custody by the FBI.

It's the, "Middle Eastern men were carrying stainless steel cylinders in backpacks", part that has me wondering, stainless steel cylinders filled with what?.

Coffee or tea for a break on their long hike, maybe? Cause remember islam is peacefull.

Naw I doubt it too. Could be any number of things from drugs on up but likely(given the description of the group) parts of an explosive device.

I am not going to preach to the choir. If a viper is in your home you kill it, you don't dismiss it, and you don't look for reasons about why (yes How, but not why) or how hard life must be for the viper you kill it.

Scratch Stainless you say?most splodies that I know of don't need stainless for containment.However-some chemicals are corrosive in nature, and need to be contained(at least temporarily)in something that resists corrosion-certain types of chemical mixtures that are classified as wmd's,or even bacterial stuff! If these people are bringing it in-I doubt that it's breakfast cerial!!! Mad

I thought of my fishing pole cylinder when I first heard that. It was stainless to help protect from salt water. I doubt their is much fishing in that area though. I do wonder what was in the canisters... but no mention of what the FBI found. It was probably just breakfast cereal or plutonium nuggets. Nothing note worthy though.
