I don't see anything wrong with Sue....but where I work (orthodontic office) we get lots of kids and one thing I've noticed lately is Hunter. One of our office ladies has a boy named Hunter and so every time I see that name (which is more often than I would have thought) it reminds me of him. Biblical names are still on the list of popular too. I've not seen so many Kyle's until I moved to Oregon, don't know why. I've never had to name a child but having a reason (for the name) is not always the point. In my family we were named randomly being surrounded by an extended family of around 15 all were involved in choosing a name and sometimes they just end up calling you what they want to call you (pet names), and that sort of thing is usual. When someone calls you by your pet name on the phone, you instantly know who is calling. I like the idea of an afterlife where you have a name that only one person calls you, then you know who it is. I talk to my dead relatives all the time don't you?

Congratulations,

Get some south Pacific flair - like Tahi (1st) , Rua (2nd)
Toru (3rd) etc, nah but I do know a family that named all their kids that way - actually I could write a book on what NOT to call your children.

I chose my 1st Childs name - Liam Andrew Stewart O'Reilly which is a amalgamation from both sides of the Family
Natalie chose second because she was sure it was going to be a girl, as we drove to the hospital where she was under going her 2nd C Sec I asked he "What if its a boy" - thats why we have Michael (not Michaela) Malcolm Stewart O'Reilly So there you go!

I'm sure whatever you choose it will suit the child

Thank you all for the suggestions. We are still kind of stumped but i am sure we will figure it out. Thanks to suz we will probably not use the name hunter tho. We want a more uncommon name. Thank you suz.

I realize I have not touched base with you folks for a while and I notice no one has posted on here real recently but I thought you may all be interested in knowing we did choose a name for the little fella.
We decided Gunnar Elias. His first name is pronounced just like Gunner not Gooner as would be expected for that spelling. Also we came up with Elias as that is my Dads grandfathers middle name.
