Mac, did you look at SAAMI's web site? There are a number of Weatherby cartridges listed there.

That was my first stop. There is a very good explanation of the SAAMI tables in the second link in my previous post. It is pretty clear that some of Weatherby's calibres are pushing the pressure envelope but their rifles are built to withstand high pressures and I have read but can't find any collaborating reference to Norma brass being heat treated to make the case heads extra-hard. I still haven't found any reference that says Weatherby loaded to 70000 + prior to the SAAMI standards being set for their calibres.

Interesting. For what it's worth, I followed Omnivision1's link to Steve's pagers. Some of the pics there looked familiar. There's been lifted out of an old (1974) Speer reloading manual.
