Well not to sound like I belive in them but if they did come up with real hard proff I wouldn't be shocked there are reasons:
1) Primates unlike alot of animals do not fossilize well. There are alot of links that support this and this is why we find few ancient remains.
2) I dont belive they dig up most of Northern Ontario, and other sites they have been "spotted" to look for bones. The scientific comunity rejects bigfoot before they even invest time to look into it.
I've got a open mind on this and any anything else. Remember its not that long ago when we thought the Earth was flat or that the atom was one solid pratical that was undivisible, now we know they are made up of thousands of particals that make up the 3 larger particals of them (Electrons, nutrons and protons).
Technology and science and human understanding of the world and everything around us changes over time. Bigfoot or not I think the problem is we rather not know something new then find out we are wrong, 99% of the time as a species.
PS Vince I think they are probrobly family animals if they do exist because all primates are pretty much family animals. Maybe small groups of 2-3 families like alot of primates ??

1895,
No not a beliver without some hard proff. Well actually even if they captured one and proved it was real unless I saw it with my own 2 eyes from a few feet away I wouldnt belive it
I'm not a beliver but my interest in science keeps me open to everything since I am the type to like to learn from history and never belive things cant be changed like alot do
Vince, your not "as dumb as dog s**t" Trust me I dont think anyone on these forums are, we got a really good bunch here
I am still waiting for Glockmans story though

1895,
Yes it is a interesting subject, its contraversial and has alot of opinions in this topic. If they are real I guess it changes things alittle doesnt it ?? We always thought we were the last remaining inteligent primates around that have got up to the stone age era.
If someone paid me a few million to do a "Study" in BC or NW US I'd do it I dont know if I'd be seeing any bigfoots but I sure will be seeing plenty of game in my scope while I'm there on a paid year or 2 long vacation
I'll keep a really open mind till someone gives me real proff. But tell you what 1895 if I ever see a bigfoot proving to me they exist I will take it and bring it to you the next day to end this debate people have about if they exist or not

Well I aint never seen one , but I have an open mind about it .. I have seen a bunch of weird s*** that cant be explained , and I know I seen what I seen .. However my argument for BigFoot is :
Why so many independent sightings from a general area in a given time frame by pretty sane people , who are always made out to be loonies when the stories start coming out ??
Just like UFO's , seems someone somewhere wants to discredit and ruin anyone who speaks out ..
This world is full of weird unexplained stuff ..

Jack,
You just mentioned whats one of the few small reasons I got a open mind about this:
Quote:: |

Most people are sane that see them and they dont "Smoke up" thats why its hard for me to discredit them right away myself
But I still stand in my position even if I do see one unless I have it in my hands after I wont belive it still :-D. I need to be able to hold it myself in my hands to belive it.
