would dry firing help you keep the edge? It helped me early on when I aquired a bad flinch.

LOL, here is a video of LA Sheriff firearms training circa 1936.
Just on the golden era of the gangster shootings..

Good or bad..

I have a CO2 version of a Walther P88 I practice with here but it has to all intent zero recoil.
I reckon I'd be even worse without it. Sad

Unfortunately we don't get enough training. The training is mandated and has to happen. But we don't use firearms like the American LEO's, we don't open carry and we don't have a criminal fraternity that shoot first. They're seriously outgunned by us, they know that the pressure placed on cop shooters and ANYONE associated with them is not worth the 2lb of pressure. Most crims that have shot cops here end up dead, either by their own hand or at the hands of Police.
I can only think of one who's still in Jail and I'm sure his life inside isn't pleasant. Shot a cop I knew, at age 17. Dunc's been gone 10 years now and the kid is still inside and hasn't got parole for at least another couple of years.
He's got no future, what a waste!
