I am far from the best though, I just work hard at what I do. I have been building rifles and hunting handguns since 1983 and run a 1-man shop. I have tried to teach others, who wanted to learn how to build guns from bare action to full custom rig and no body wants to work. Either their too stinkin lazy or they have either that "it's close enough" or "that'll do" attitude. My philosophy is - build it the best it can be built OR leave it alone....

I agree 110% Elvis...not many true craftsmen left these days.

You are right when you say they have the "near enough is good enough" attitude mate, and it stems from a mixture of laziness and the "throw away" world we live in these days.
