I guess all our Aussie Nuts will be happy to hear that the "Ranga of Canberra" has deceided to give you 8 months to wind up enough backswing to kick her out.
Good luck guys! See if you can do it....cause the Yanks have got some major issues heading their way and I'd hate to see the Aussies get it any worse.

Unfortunately, regardless of who/what we vote for, a f*&^(*g politician will get elected.
My backswings in great form now, it will be even more effective after listening to 8 months of political dribble.

Abbott might be able to use the extra time to his advantage, she's already made her mark and everybody knows what to expect from her, but he's got some time to counter her every move. This should be fun to watch. Why is it the good decent people are the ones that have to work so hard to be on top? It's because their mom's never taught them to deceive. That's something you have to learn over time to do, and if you're not used to doing it at a tender age then it's harder when you're older to learn how to do it.
Through lies and deception, the Republican candidates here, (during the election campaigning) were systematically blindsided by trash-talking Democrats to the point of them being ousted from campaigning. Republicans lost their best and brightest hopefuls and were left with the weakest dim bulbs to light the way. Our campaigning has now evolved into a full time opera that spans the length of time in office. It's like playing Monopoly, it just freekin never ends!
With Gillard lengthening the campaign time she's possibly tripped over her own shoestring. Now Abbott has lots more re-load time and hopefully plenty of ammo, or he can just make something up (like they do here).

Abbot, AKA the mad monk.......
Used his own money to stitch up an opposing political leader a while ago.
Dont trust him either.
Was a time when the previous treasurer was a bloke call Costello with Abbot in the wings as leader, we came very close to having a country run by Abbot and Costello.
I dont think it would have been anywhere near funny, tragedy come's to mind.

I think the ranga would try to do as much damage as possible, (and maybe transfer some slush funds overseas), before she move on.

What's the difference between a politician and a cat fish?
Ones a scum sucking bottom dweller and the other one's a fish......
