That is very posible. If she hadn't done something stupid she would be about my age plus a few.

Plus quite a few for you, Marilyn is nearly the same age as my grandfather, actually I think right in the middle of both my grandparents come to think of it.
Heck you retired after I joined this web forum.

Now that's real encouraging.
Let's see here. 5' 7", 155 lbs. Blood preasure 120/70 (except right now). Nothing hurts and I only take one pill daily.

We just got power back last night, here in my area of PA. and I'm very grateful for that. A bit of an inconvenience, but nothing compared to the trouble others are experiencing. After what I've seen, I feel very lucky indeed. I've been working 16 hour days on the New Jersey coast trying to get the railroad line back up and the devastation there is horrendous. I'm sure by now most of you have seen the pictures. The smell of fuel oil and raw sewage is everywhere. There are huge lines for gas in North Jersey where there is a station open. The Coast Guard held the tankers off the coast due to damage in the major gas refineries and the ports in Linden, N.J.. Many stations have gas and no power. Many others have power and no gas. Police are at all gas stations that are open to keep the peace. There's no place to get a meal or even a cup of coffee in the area I'm working. There are stories of looting in some areas and the police are restricting access to those areas. We have to pass through check points to get in. When I got to work on Wednesday there was one railroad bridge with two large boats and a container on it's deck. Another of the bridges got struck by a runaway tug which then sunk. I was near a marina today and saw about 100 boats stacked like firewood on the high ground nearby. Many others sunk. All were totaled.

BigBlue, thanks for update. Glad your power is back in order. It sounds like a lot of people on the coast didn't really make the preparation they needed for Sandy.

I see that folks in NYC area are having to arm themselves against looters. They are using baseball bats, sticks, bows, etc. Of course the bad guys have GUNS. I bet they sure are glad that they live in a safe, "gun free" area...
