Just finished the bowie I started a couple of weeks ago for my mate Garth.
He will swap a 25 ton hydraulic jack for the knife, I think I get the better part of the bargain.

It is the first time I polish any knife to full shine.
I use Autosol and a piece of leather to polish the blade.

I use buried studs for the scale.

I would do a trade for the things I made.

Truthfully, there are many professional smiths that could make much better knives.

Beautiful!!! I polish my wood chisels like that, it makes a huge difference when you're slicing through something. I love the shape and the polish is just so smooth and that's a pretty deadly looking cutter, great job!

That is a magnificent knife Gelan. I love the shape of the blade and you did and awesome job of polishing it as well mate.

Would like very much to know how you do the etching mate...it looks awesome.

Vince, the "etching" is done on my CNC machine Razz

Thats why it looks neat Very Happy

Actually, I am not much into large knives or bowies, but because this knife is an "order", I just made it as requested.
I like small nimble knives that I can control more precisely.
