The snakes, the spiders and all the deadly crap we have isn't as scary as one of these multiple legged suckers creepin up ya leg whilst sitting in ya favourite barby recliner.. Laughing

This bugger will give you a very nasty bite. Are they venomous...certainly are, but to varying levels...there are more than one type. Note the fangs on the underside of the head... Shocked Shocked Shocked

Cheers, Vince

I always kid about using a 12 ga. as a fly swatter but you can actually do it!

Nasty critter!!

Don't know about North Carolina, but here in Missouri the [prehistoric] bugs chase the bats.

Okay who counted the legs to see if it had 100?

Seriously, I am beginning to understand why ANZACs make such ferocious soldiers. After living with all the nasty critters nothing with just two legs can scare you, except maybe your women.

Man what a creature. Maybe it would make good fish bait. Certainly big enough. Cool

Big or is it a little kid with a hairy arm?

They are OK, at least you can see them coming.
And you would have to be doing something really stupid to get bit.

It's the nasties you don't see I hate, mainly ticks and leeches

Its a big one Tiks...in fact I've seen them bigger than that bugger mate. When in the Army, I was always wary of where I slept on the ground in the rain forest. Would use a hammock or "A frame" if possible...lots of biteys mate...ticks, leeches, spiders, centipedes, big nasty ants, snakes, bush rats...you name it mate...they were there. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Cheers, Vince
