Yeah...I know mate...as I said...a simplistic view.

I'm one of these strange buggers that believes in the authorities having the power to collect evidence and get to the truth using whatever means are necessary...stopping short of physical abuse or coercion...I don't believe in torture or slappin' someone till they say what you want to hear. I also believe that evidence that genuinely shows the truth should never be discarded by the Judiciary regardless. I hate "bottom feeders" who will use any and every trick in the book to get their client off a charge regardless if he is guilty or not.

I firmly believe that if someone is refusing to answer a question, then they have something to hide...and 9 times out of 10 it is their guilt or complicity.

You have to know that if someone doesn't answer the question that they have answered the question. I have found many times that clients who are hiding something are hiding something that has nothing to do with the subject matter that I am interested in and the reasons for the deception or not answering has to do with embarassment, fear of retailation or you name it. And I tend to agree with you about technicalities but in Canada, all peace officers are to protect the Constitution first and foremost before any other legislation. America and Aus, NZ, GB and a host of others all have similiar protection for their citizens. Chimo

I've been following this via Cam and Company (NRA podcast) of late !!!

I am completely amazed at the circumstantial evidence that has been presented and the arrogance of this idiot !!!

And to say the democrats are in full parasitism spin mode is the understatement of the year !!!
Their official report cleared Holder and everyone at DOJ.......it was them there Arizonians you see.

It seems as though the only thing that really got resolved was (Dem) Dennis Kucinich botched groundhog day joke........ after he asked to be recognized again to be allowed to speak to clarify his error.

Why oh why with the world in such a diar financial condition are we STILL giving aid/money to these other places in the world??? we have to borrows millions each week to keep our countries going and yet the do gooders are giving the plurry stuff away and there is no snowballs chance in hell we will ever see a cent of it back.

Bushy, I look at that new article as sending the message to the US government. It is the people who read it and start the sh_t storm with their congressmen and senators to get a grip on things. He does raise a good point. I have never in my career ever seen nor heard of a mexican automatic weapon. The US is still one of the few top quality manufacturers of automatic weapons. And the weapons trade is alive and well in America.

Mexico has always been a cesspool politically and criminally. The strong always picking on the weak.
Elvis has hit the nail on the head with aid to other countries. I know that they need help but charity begins at home. The good book says it and it is as true now as it was when it was first written.
