oh why do we do it to ourselves each Christmas?
bunny for breakfast. nibbles chocolate n chips for lunch
new potatoes boiled with mint, peas, pumpkin and roast wild pork with apple sauce (home made) for tea.
hokey pokey icecream, home made berry icecream, pavalova (homemade of course) with whipped cream n strawberrys, banana banoffi and strawberries for pudding wtf wtf
have to wash it down with a beer I feel Shocked
what did all you folks stuff yourselves with???

Haha Haha Haha Haha You poor bugger Gelan.

A rather modest Christmas lunch here today...roast leg of pork with nice crisp crackling and apple sauce, roast leg of lamb and gravy, roast chicken and stuffing, baked vegetables (potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, sweet potato and onion), boiled broccoli, peas and beans...homemade Christmas Pudding (with the obligatory coins inside), vanilla custard, ice cream and fruit mince tarts. No beer to wash it down...just a nice hot cup of tea.

I'm satisfied...come to think of it, I might not even bother with tea tonight.

Barbecue: Patties, sausages and steak with ham, bacon wrapped potato croquettes, pasta salad, rosemary potatoes and a crisp lettuce salad followed up about 3 hours later with Strawberry Cheesecake and raspberry sauce, apple crumble and ice-cream......yeah sore puku too. (Puku is Maori for stomach), didn't get haurangi though (drunk) but had a great moe (sleep) overnight. Starting to relax.....
Lucky I got a good cook for a wife no wonder Ive stacked on 10 kg this year, just rocking the scales at 100 kg......
new years promise is to get rid of said 10 kg....hopefully I'll get a kuri (dog) and have to exercise it.

Chicken Parmesan, italian stuffed baked potatoes, and a special homemade pistachio fruit salad concoction (delicious) and an ice cold 7up. For some reason my wife and mom decided we needed roles, deviled eggs and candied yams (I love the yams and eggs but they usually don't go with the above main dish lol).

BBQ tonight, mutton chops , chips, sausages, mushrooms, lettuce salad and bread buns....I better go for a hunt tomorrow while I can still carry my own weight Very Happy Very Happy

Well...it sounds like all of us have a magnificent cook of at home. Radar...you need to loose 10 kg mate...I wish that's all I need to loose...I'm about 30 kg (66lb) overweight mate.

Oh well...Christmas is a time for over indulging in the finer things in life...it's worth the pain in the Puku...I hope. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Thursday- after getting picked up at the Kalispell airport by my sis in a giant limo: off to a gourmet private dinner at a secluded spot with just the fam ....king crab legs and prime rib, plus all that goes with...and then some! Sis does it first class all the way, a redneck like me could get used to that!

Friday- I can't remember exactly, but it was a lot of different stuff, I mean wow, all day grazing.

Saturday: Xmas ham, taters, veggies etc etc etc....

Sunday: flew home 10# heavier, plane was listing, buttons popping.
