Irish Setter Black Bear 10" (Red Wing import)
Niiiiice boot...been wearing them to work the past two days and at home. Toe box is juuuuust touching the side of my rt big toe @ 10:00 o'clock with my thick socks on. With my foot all the way up I can just sneak a fniger in behind my ankle so there barely enough room. A wee bit smaller than I'd like but another half size would break-in too big so I'm going to risk it and see what happens on a hike locally. Once the toe box softens some and my foot adjusts I might be good to go. I got them a half size big but they came in barely big enough. Are people's feet getting smaller? They're imported so....chinese feets is pretty small...someday I'll pony up for some US made Danner's. Fingers crossed! Perfect sole thickness, nice resoleable welt, waxy yummy leather, lil more padding than I like but...uninsulated so they dont get all mooshy when wet. Nice boot.

OK- got 30 miles on these boots. Air-bob soles? Best grip ever. Sand, rock face....no mud as of yet, we don't get much of that here so...but these soles get up and GO.
Very comfy boot. No blisters, pressure points, etc. It's nice when feet are not a factor.
So far so good. Get them in a full size larger- half size will be too small.
My feet are messed up from being smashed and traumatized. I'm picky about footwear and these boots make life worth walking agin.
I clean with a dry rag and dress them with Skidmore's each hunt. That's it. They come insulated and non-insulated for colder regions.
Great boot for the price. 5 stars.

These things see lot's of stickers and stuff too....bird hunts here go from 3000' to 6000' and beyond in hard, rocky terrain. Footwear don't last long here. Feet are staying clean and prick-free with these.
