Which new rifle?

I'm fixing to upgrade my hunting rifle. I gave my browing x-bolt 30'06 to my son who's wanted it for a few years. I've narrowed my choice down to a remington 700 and another browning x-bolt, both chambered in 300WSM. What would yall choose?

Last time I was at Cabela's, there were lots of 300 WSM on the used rack. You might be able to grab a good deal.

Could be any local gun shop. 300 WSM just seem to be a common trade-in.

It depends what you prefer. I agree with slimjim and would visit a few gun shops to see what is available on the used gun racks. All the best...

Browning X Bolt. Unless you really want the Remington 700, but I would consider as to why they are showing up in used gun racks more so then the X Bolt.
