Heading Out

Off across the big Pond again on Sunday for my biannual recharging of the spirit (& a time to renew my handgun "skills".....).
Going to be in Albuquerque most of the time but up at the NRA Whittington Centre, Raton, NM for four days too.
Right now I'm struggling to concentrate on tying up loose ends business-wise before I leave things to the tender mercies of my greatly appreciated brother.
The 8 hour flight from Manchester to Atlanta is no fun though. Sad

English Mike, are you reloading all the ammo you plan on digesting? Pictures like last year!

You may actual shoot more than a lot of us here state sides

I reckon I used quite a lot of the last batch, so Tuesday & Wednesday next week will be makin' .45 time, as I'll be at the range on Thursday.
I usually reckon on getting through 4-500 handgun rounds over two weeks & maybe 300 7.62x51 from my shrinking stash of SA & Portuguese surplus. Crying or Very sad

Going to do some more accuracy work on the .270 as well - looking to get consistent 3", 5 shot groups @ 300yds with 90's, 130's & 150's - not mixed though. Very Happy

Thanks for that mate - it really does feel like I'm coming back to where I belong rather than going to somewhere.

Got three fishing rods turning on the dryer right now & hope to get a last coat of epoxy on the wrappings before I go to bed - at about 03:00 if I'm lucky....
