Well 17HMR and 22Mag that is....

I had a friend of mine (Tim) drop off his new Taurus revlovers (A small frame 22 Mag 5" and a Tracker 17Hmr 6 1/2") so that i could do an action job and just clean up the trigger for him. I finished this morning and was invited to come over with my daughters to try them both out, which after the kids got out of school we did.

So after Tim shot a few cylinders and made a few comments on having other work done to them, i had my oldest daughter shoot the 17HMR and the youngest shoot the 22Mag. The first thing my the both of my daughters said was "hey dad, these shoot nice" then they switched and my youngest said "i like this one better" (17HMR....the both of them liked it better actually) and while it was somewhat cumbersome being slightly larger than the 22Mag, she had no problem pulling the hammer back and SHOOTING BETTER THAN ME (sand bags or not, both daughters are damn good shots )!


Now, the best thing of all is on the ride home when my oldest daughter said "dad, i have to tell you something...but it has to wait till we get home", and i kind of knew what i was in for.....
<------ and i was right! BUT, her exact words were......"dad......do you think DADDYCLAUSE can get those 17's for my sister and i for X-MAS? I know you are santa and i didn't want to ask in the car because some people still believe in santa and the Easter Bunny......but you can't fool me"!

Yeah, she has my number......Bank Account, Credit Cards, MSU college fund ....And for only being an 8 y/o, she is mind-set on MSU (which is fine by me)!
