Has anybody got any of their kit? I am being offered a M14 (I think that's what he said, I'm British, you know...) in 223.

Any reports?

Keep at it

I'm not sure I understand the question? The M-14 is usually chambered in .308 Win/7.62 NATO. The Ruger Mini-14 is chambered for .223 (also 7.62 x 39mm and now 6.8mm SPC).

Sabre Defense makes AR-15 clones. Did you mean an M-4 variation?

AS for the company, I don't really know anything about them, quality wise.

DaveyBoy, a member here who hasn't posted in a while, he is also British and he has posted that his brother in law owns Sabre Defense. Smile

Might want to contact him. Smile

Hi Mike and Dimitri

M4 sounds familiar - it might be one of those. Ad for the member who hasn't posted for a while, well he and I are the same. I shall ask myself later.

Reason for asking is that I can have one if I want one and I don't now what I want one for. Restrictions on ownership over here are barmy and I don't know if I can be bothered. Now if it were really special...

Where do I find out things about an 'M4'?

Sabre Defence in the UK & Sabre Defence Industries in the US are unrelated.

The former imports & produces modified versions of semi auto firearms that make them manual loading only & thus legal in the UK.

There are manual loading versions of the AR15M16 available in the UK in .223, 6.5Grendel & 6.8SPC.

Another UK source is here: www.southern-gun.co.uk/
