I just started using PB to track some of my reloads. One thing I don't quite understand in the Target Distance. I was shooting pistol at 15 to 25 yrds, but the program won't let me enter anything less than 50.

Is there a reason why it won't use lower distances (ie pistol distances) ?

At the time the current version was created, I saw little need to allow for such short range targets due to such a small amount of drop in a bullet. There has been alot of requests for smaller increments in the range value and I am allowing as small as 1 yard increments in target distances in the next version.

OK cool. So for the current version, I'll just use 50. Thanks!

You know, after playing with Pointblank some I'm considering sighting my "general purpose" handguns at 75 yards. .357 Mags and .40 S&W with a 135 grain bullet. If the load will group at that range the trajectory will allow good hits that far and a bit more. No more than 1.5" high anywhere and only about 3" low at 100 yards.
