Dimitri - are you sure you want to be a gunsmith? By the time you have learned all the information you will need, there probably won't be any guns LEFT in Canada!
As (apparently, unless others are lying) one of the older members of this site, I feel it only right to give you a valuable piece of advice. This is an old Indian trick - taught to me by a very old Indian.............. Don't eat yellow snow. Since receiving this advice myself, I can honestly say that I have NEVER woken up with a goat in my bed .......... a few 'dogs' maybe, but that's another story. I hope this jewel serves you as well as it has done me, may your bed always be free of goat droppings.

Delboy,
Look at the last federal election that happend.  Most of Canada as a whole voted for the conservatives to keep the Liberals out of power and not let them (Liberals) take away our guns 
Trust me when I say I highly douht any party will try and make a move and ban guns anytime soon. Even mentioning your going to ban a type of gun will cost any political party a election
