Local guy was having a inventory reduction sale and picked up a Heritage Arms "Rough Rider" with dual cylinders for .22WRM and .22LR. It has about a five and half or so inch barrel and looks to be a fun little thing for range and fishing/hunting trips. $217 out the door with tax. It does have some things I am of course not real crazy about. Has a three notch hammer pull. I am guessing to keep the legal department happy. And even a flip switch safety on the left side of the frame. It is not a terrible design. Just "un-needed" with the three position hammer. It comes in a nicely made cardboard box with a foam insert cutout with a catalog of all things accessory for it. She saw the add-on grips and really liked the pink Mother of Pearl type grips.... girls. HA HA HA!
Now the Jillybean wants to go down and look at a few for a possible purchase for to use on the range. I think I am wearing off on her a bit... after three and a half years together FINALLY!!!!!! It took Cathy a little while to warm up to the shooting life as well.
MAN!!! The cabinet is getting full!! And ya' all know what that means......
time for ANOTHER CABINET!!!!!!
