The Berger website is AWESOME as promised by the guys at Berger a couple of years ago. There also was a link to "Accuracy1st"

www.accuracy1stdg.com/store/

Many of you probably know them already. They are new to me, and looked interesting, so I thought I'd pass it on. . . . but that's another story.

the guys at Berger was the point. When you text them with interesting questions, it is amazing how far up the line the communications go. Little guys like you and me will be getting telephone calls from the President, Berger family members, WOW !!

I just can't praise these guys enough.

I will be working with them on my next/continuing rifle project. A Ruger M77 MK II target model with a barrel designed around the Berger # 20306 55gr Match grade boattail varmint bullet.

. . . then I'll be looking for an invite to anywhere long-distance shots are available . . . .Anyone want a chance to shoot this thing ?? ESTIMATED project completion date - Spring 2017

This will be FUN

44marty, it sounds like your project is like one of mine - maybe quicker. I have several projects "in work" that have been sitting around for years now. What's the update on your M77 Target?

Berger Bullets are high quality and very accurate. I have experienced the same level of service as you have. Walt, their president, has helped me out several times. Unfortunately, their .277 VLD hunting bullets have too thick a copper jacket for the caliber and don't expand. They make great target bullets. I'm about to do some load development with the 130 VLDs in my 6.8mm.

Thanks for your post and link.
