Stopped by Gander Mountain today. A friend said that this store was getting in many used pistols.

I Happily walked out with a Sig P226 West German 9mm for less than $400.00.
Some holster wear, but real tight, and in great condition. It was made in 1987.
Nice to get a Sig without a rail on it for a change.

Eric

PS--I see that my new model P226 is selling for $1200.00. Think I'll keep that one in the gun safe. E.

It is a really nice gun in great shooting condition, and very tight.
West German Sigs do have some advantage over the new ones, so I hated to pass this one up.

Eric

I bought my first Sig recently and paid quite a bit more than you; a Sig P229. It had been used by a law enforcement agency in Pennsylvania and, as they say, it was probably carried a lot and shot just a little.

I'm quite impressed with it. It fits my hand better than any other handgun I've shot and is quite accurate and the action is slick. Mine doesn't have a rail either.
