I doubt Michelle Obama will be attending this man's funeral, but I'm getting ahead of myself so let me tell you a bit about him.
His name is Maurice Harris and he was 34 years old. I say was because he won't be seeing his 35th birthday. He was in his home, in Miami, with his wife and 11 year old daughter when near midnight two heavily armed men broke into the house and demanded cash from Maurice and his wife. His 11 year old daughter still lay in her bed sleeping. They ordered Maurice and his wife to get on the ground and put their hands over their heads and then one of the men, animals is more like it, made a move to go into the bedroom where their daughter slept.
I'm gonna stop here a minute and ask you to put yourself in this man's position. He's not armed and knows these men are heavily armed. He can't get to a phone to call the police. Can you imagine the fear that went through him knowing that he could do nothing to effectively protect his family?
Maurice had only one chance and that was to try his best to fight these men with his bare hands and I think you can all imagine the outcome. They shot him multiple times and the noise their guns created caused these murderers to flee the house. 911 was called and Maurice was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. He had saved his wife and daughter and gave his life in the effort. You can't ask anymore of a man than that. His wife and daughter will know for the rest of their lives that this man died to save them. Today the wife has no husband and the daughter no father. So let me ask again, do you think Michele Obama will be attending this man's funeral?
Is this what the government wants for us? As they work to disarm us, these animals, this evil, is still at work against us. Waiting to come to your house to rob and murder. They don't worry about laws, they don't worry about background checks, their only worry is whether or not you've been disarmed. They were described as heavily armed. Maybe a 7 round magazine would be enough, odds are it wouldn't be. How many people will die due to these moron politician's efforts to disarm us? In his State of the Union speech Obama again cried out for a vote on gun control. In Mayor Bloomburg's State of the City speech he said he would pressure congress to put an end to gun violence, but do either of these politicians actually have a plan that will stop criminals like these from getting guns and using them in their crime sprees? Nope, just more of the same crap to disarm the law abiding and let them be victims!
Maurice himself had a criminal record for drug charges well in his past. They say he had turned his life around and was a good family man now. That may be a reason that he didn't own a gun. Anyway, Maurice died a hero, although I do wish he had a gun.

This stuff has got my blood boiling. If and when they catch the two who did this I'll bet you $100 they have prior criminal records. But the media will concentrate on the guns used.

...and they will probably walk because some "touchy feely", "warm and fuzzy", kumbayar "Puppet of the Govt" Judge will feel sorry for them because nobody gave them a teddy bear as a child...which is why they steal today...why should anybody have anything when they had nothing!!

I hope the next house they go into is owned by a family that is armed to the teeth and knows how to use said arms.
