So I have a friend that deals in guns. He told me about his new pistol that he got from a family member. It is a revolver made in Austria that shoots projectils fast enough to kill a man if he were shot in the right spot. The gun is only about 2 inches long. Its actually pretty amazing. I look around on the net for pictures of the gun but was not able to find them however I found some really cool links that if you are interested you should check them out.

Sounds like your friend's pistol might be either a Lilliput or a Kolibri. Pictures and a short history of the Kolibri rounds can be seen here: www.oldammo.com/may05.htm

Either would be suitable for dispatching a rampaging mouse if you had a good back-up gun for when you made it mad. Shooting

I have the 1976 edition of COTW, and Frank Barnes states that the 2.7 Kolibri might be suitable for an overly aggressive cockroach.

Thats laughable. I know what I have read says that it could kill a man if shot in the right spot. The projectile actually travels at just over the speed it requires to penetrate skin so you would have to be shooting at point blank range in the right spot if you wanted to kill something with it. They make a pretty cool collectable though.

The half size 9mm rounds push the bullet at 800+fps - more than enough to cause serious injury.
Something like a .22 short in .17 caliber.
