Hey all,
I really like this program. I do have a question. When you build a new load there is a lot of information asked for. However when you go to the online database there is a LOT of information that is not asked for. Why? My logic says the same information should be asked for. If I found a load that I wanted to try there are a lot of variables that are not given online. The lot numbers missing is no issue but not having the type of bullet, Bullet manufacturer and case manufacturer make replicating a specific recipe more challenging. However if this information is available and I just have not found it yet then no worries, just point me in the right direction. Shoot safe.

I agree with your analysis.
They are two completely different systems and each evolved in different fashion according to user needs and suggestions.
There is actually, more information gathered than shown in the online database... I really need to change it to display everything.
With regards to lot #'s. The odds two different people from different places in the country have components with the same number has been fairly rare from what I've seen. The average reloaters buy at different times of the year, and usually in small enough amounts they largely ignore lot #s. Certainly there are some people that its very important to but I'd bet if you took a survey, you would find most people ignore lot #s.
I will look into adding more fields in the online database.
Thanks for the comment
