well I got the job Ive been chasing since xmas.
I will be driving a stock truck for a different firm out in a smaller town (closer to my hunting grounds Very Happy

) we couldnt find a house and were getting worried as travelling 40+ kms to work would have killed it this morning we picked up the paper and WOOHOO theres a house where we need one. I phoned and booked in, Wife and I went out for a look and came home with the keys. the rent is a bit more than where we have been for the last 12 years but it looks to be a heap better place for us all.
my boys school is only 100yrd down the street ,high school 1.2kms away, work 2kms tops, a bigger flat section it will be bliss to mow lawns that arent on 30 degree slope.
Life looks to be coming good for us. Very Happy

Being that close to schools makes life easier alround as well.

That is brilliant news Elvis. Driving stock trucks...carting sheep I would imagine mate. Whereabouts do you have to take the stock to and from mate?

As Tiks said...close to work and schools makes life so easy.

Good on ya mate. Me and the Wifee still struggling to find a compatable house to buy, we renting as well but my lawns take about 20 minutes to do - 10 of thats covincing the mower to go....
Its been a good 12months for the Nuts career wise hasn't it

Hang in there Radar Im sure those leeches/real estate agents will find you something soon, you have plenty of towns and places around Im sure you will find what you are after if you keep looking.

Stock trucks over here are getting bigger every time I see one.

These trucks get any longer they will look like a freight train.LOL The longest one I ever pulled was 45 ft, of course their longer now but way shorter than you have over there.Sure makes you keep your concentration on what your doing Laughing

Oregon allows three trailer...
