Dallon, I would like to congatulate you and the others who spend so much time with this site and make it a great place for info and some enjoyment. I noticed that the site now has 2005 registered users. That is really some doing. thanks for the info and keep up the great stuff that all of you do.

People come here for different reasons. Some like you come and shoot the breeze on the forums, others only use the Online PointBlank, others just use the Reloading Database, others still only use the photo hosting. Some use all combinations of the above. Different strokes for different folks. We get 3-4,000 hits a day and not all of them are interested in the forums. Alot who do visit the forums lurk, never posting... as shown by the " Posts: 8012 | Views: 149986 " statistic

We will never be as popular as some of the major sites out there but truth be told, thats not what I am shooting for. HuntingNut is a successful hobby and is only continuing to grow as more and more people find their way here.

Never say never. Its all about rentention in the forums really. I belong and have belonged to many online forums and games. The thing is out of the 2000 we may have 1000 that arnt ever on, 500 lurkers, 400 interested in the other features and about 100 or so that post.

The thing is at 4000 members we will have double the posters etc.

Takes time for the site to kick off but all websites needed a kick off. I figure once we hit "6000" members the site will be much faster on the boards then it aready is and will probrobly be at the status of "major" site based on 2 times more postings a day then now which is quite abit

When I first found this site it was months ago before I even thought of joining. The forums were much slower then now. (I think it was back in early September I'm not too sure ) I picked up a copy of PointBlank and didnt come back for abit. I registed when I started to read on the forums and started to like the atmosphere that was here. And all the joking around and friendlyness displayed by the members myself

It happened pretty much the same way for me as Dimitri as far as posting, except I had Point Blank a few years ago I believe. Don't remember just when but I've been using it for some time, but my puter crashed and I needed a new download of Point Blank and it brought me here. That's when I bookmarked the site and returned to join later. Great program, by the way. I really enjoy this forum as well.

I think there will be a massive influx of people once the next version of PointBlank releases. People already recommend it to others on other forums when someone asks what to get... once a new version is out everyone using the old will come to upgrade, bringing more people with them.

I can easily imagine us picking up another 2-3000 members during this next year.
