I would add that a Model 1905 .303 caliber Canadian Ross I picked up is even worse than the 1891 Carcano previously posted. All the best...

I've got a Rossi combo set 12ga. and a .223 rem. The shotgun shoots fine. The .223 you can almost get it on target and then it will totally miss a piece of card board 4' x 4' @ 100 yards. Iv'e had bushnell, redfield simmons,Leupold,BSA scopes on it it just won't zero. I have sent 2 letters to Rossi Arms and the never contact me Back.Anyone have an Idea what could be wrong with it ?? Remington 597 22 cal. No matter what we have fed it, it routinely fails to feed, stove pipes and paints a target like bird shot with an 8x scope. The kids don't even like to shoot it (when it feeds).

Yup the Ross is a worthless rifle. Very Happy Gil, This brings back memories of history class and how the Canadian troops in WW1 would try to get there hands on a Lee-Enfeild the first chance they got. It did work but even dust going in the barrel would make it worse. The new improved Model 1910 was just as bad in that department just had a better magazine system Smile

Gil if you still have it just remember to double check how you instaled the part of the bolt with the locking lugs properly in the bolt body. That caused alot of accidents. Sad

It does require ALOT of cleaning. And they say the AR-15 platform does ROFL
