Another FN Mauser rifle

I was in a gun shop on Saturday just looking around when I came across a vintage commercial FN Mauser rifle in .30-06. It had a perfect bore, lovely stock and the old Balvar A scope and mounts with external adjustments. It was cheap and I set it back until payday. Not sure what I will do with this classic, but it was too good of a bargain to pass up. I hate it when that happens. All the best...

Congrats on your new FN. I picked one up years ago, only with a synthetic stock. Though, not a tack driver, it is a pretty darn good shooter. It has taken its share of elk and deer. Great rifle, especially for the price. Very Happy

They were asking $279.00 out the door. I have been shopping in this store since 1969. My price is $250.00. This rifle will join several other FNs in one of my gun safes. All the best...

They are awesome and worth every penny. They are all I use for most of my projects many brands used these and every time I find one for less then 300 I buy it. Congrats that was a steal.

I went to the local gunsmith last evening to get scope mounts for this rifle. My 'smith was very impressed and asked if I wanted to sell the rifle. No, it is not for sale. All the best...
