Which one would fall faster, a ton of bricks or a ton of feathers? The difference would be whether or not the feathers were compacted or packed loose. The compacted feathers would have less wind resistance than the loose packed feathers. So, it would depend on which one you were comparing. the one with the least amount of wind resistance would fall faster. You also have to take into concideration, the shape of the bricks and the feathers and how they are packed. To get a fair comparison, you would have to test all the different variables and take several tests and get an average of the speeds at which they fall. Don't forget about the weather at the time of each test because wind, relative humidity and temperature might also cause slight differences in the speed that they fall. Taking this in mind you would have to have all the different configuration of the test ready to perform at exactly the same time to get the real answer to the question. Actually everything falls at the same rate in a vacuum...

I'm just going to let Chambered take care of himself, don't think I'm brave enough to jump in that one!

Even more variables to concider... surface texture of each configuration...teeth marks in the keaster... by Suzanne... you make that sound like a bad thing...

Yes, but then you have to factor in 6.25 X 10 to the 18th power. This is the number of electrons, passing past any given point during one second of time, to create one ampere of current (one coulomb), or more simply said: 6,250,000,000,000,000,000 electrons per second.

Put your glasses on Bushy, you might miss a few! Very Happy

Yes, and don't forget that you need precisely the same microns of vacum for each test of each variable otherwise the tests would be invalid. Even one micron could feasibly make a difference.
