Gentlemen,
I am looking to purchase a survival firearm. I know the old Firearms International Corp had a little skeleton rifle and a rifle shotgun combo. I am interested in any caliber and or combo you may have.
If anyone is willing to part with one, give me a shout at waterbug012000 @ yahoo.com
Thanks a bunch guys.

OC,
By survival, do you mean family protection, in the home, or an all-purpose weapon used to gather food?
I like a multi-weapon tool kit. For protection, I like a long distance rifle, a shotgun with buckshot, and a pistol. The rifle could be any good deer rifle or an SKS/AR-15/or any light assault weapon.
For food gathering, a combination rifle/shotgun would be ok. This, also, would depend on the types of game in your area. The most valuable food getter, in most areas would probably be a .22, because small game, such as birds and rabbits would be the most likely foods on the menu. If you have to, you can take game as large as medium sized wild hogs and white-tailed deer, with a well placed shot from a .22 long rifle. I’ve personally killed a 350 pound hog with a .22 short. If you live in an area with lots a large game, a larger rifle would also be needed. I even have a .22 Hornet in my arsenal. It has its place.
I’m a survivalist and I believe in a complete tool kit that would cover protection and food acquisition. You have to take surviving very seriously. You have to be able to cover anything thrown at you. Remember, your survival depends on it.
Now, all that said, if your budget covers only one weapon, an over/under combination (rifle/shotgun) would work. Don’t forget lots of ammo.
Cary
