when I bought my colt 45 acp, and guy at work bought a Springfield 45, I forgot exactly which one it was. we went out shooting together one after noon.
he shot about 20 or 30 rounds threw his gun.
I let him shoot my colt 45.
he put his Springfield 45 down and said he hated it. he refuses to shot it anymore and wants to see it or trade it in. it did have a snappy recoil.
he also owns a Kimber 40 cal. he loves it and shoots like a charm.

I would of thought a 45 would all shoot the same, but there was a difference.

I think it was just that particular Springfield type of gun.
for I have heard many good things of Springfield weapons.
