This is a question for members who reside in South Carolina, or who have knowledge of other State Militia groups.

Yes, I know the media has demeaned the name militia, and it congers visions of racism, hatred, and fanaticism, so call it a civilian defense group.

I have been searching for a civilian militia group in SC and have found some links that are no longer useful.

Does anyone know if there is a SC civilian militia, or something of that nature. I am not interested in skinhead organizations, or racially restrictive groups. Just an organizations that supports the USA and its Constitution.

If there is none, and you are a member of another organization of this type can you advise how one can organize a group like this?
