I don't have a .270 but I have been loading my brother in-laws .270 with 130 gr and 140 gr bullets using WW760 for years. His is and older rifle that's getting worn and I worked up the loads years ago. There were a few powders that did well but WW760 seemed to work the best along with a few other load/cartridge adjustments.

I've had great luck w accuracy of Re22 usually close to the top end in a .270 win. Sweets 7.62 is the best copper solvent I ever used this method was told to me by an old competition shooter that has passed on but not forgotten. first scrub bore with a phospur-copper brush and hoppes#9 to remove all powder fouling clean w patch to remove all hoppes #9 use different brush pushed all the way through from breech to muzzle load up brush protruding from muzzle and pull back through reversing direction in the chamber and again out the muzzle,load brush again repeat this 3x and let set for 15 min no longer; clean sweets out until all blue soup is gone if you still have copper repeat but never let set for more than 15min. I've used this after 100 rounds and been satisfied w 2 repititions. after cleaning I always put a protective coat of hoppes#9 on.

I've been using IMR 4831 as my go to powder for all 140 grain bullets in my Ruger M-77 .270. Using BR-2 primers; Winchester cases and 58.0-58.5 grains of IMR 4831, I get great accuracy(less than 1 MOA) and no pressure signs with the following bullets: 140 Nosler Accubond;140 Nosler Ballistic Tip; 140 Hornady SST; and 140 Hornady BTSP interlock;
For velocity, I'm getting 3030 fps with the Accubonds. In my opinion, the 140 grain bullet has made the 130 grain 270 load obsolete in my rifle.

I used to use IMR 4831 in my .270 but switched to Reloder 22 a couple years ago. I am getting 3190 FPS with 130 grain SST out of a 22 inch barrel with good accuracy.
