A very self-important college freshman attending a
recent football game took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen sitting next to him why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.
'You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one,' the student said, loud enough for many of those nearby to hear. 'The young people of today are much more advanced than people your age. We grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, man walking on the moon and the internet. We have cell phones, nuclear energy , electric and hydrogen cars , computers, automated manufacturing, amazing technologies, ...and,' pausing to take another drink of beer.
The senior took advantage of the break in the student's litany and said, 'You're right, son. We didn't have those things when we were young .... so we invented them. Now, you arrogant little s**t, what are YOU doing for the next generation ?'

The term highlights the idea that our brains simply weren’t built to cope with the information overload and stress generated by life in the 21st century. An absent-minded activity, like putting cornflakes in the fridge or milk in the cupboard, can also be referred to as a senior moment. The term senior moment was coined in America in the mid-nineties, but has become more widely used in the UK during the past couple of years.

Neat, well I will post here when I do something interesting.
My biggest problem is I am a jack of all master of none. I love to try anything new and will do very well at it for a while. But I just end up finding something else to try before long.

The secret is to only do things that you are interested in or have fun doing and forget the rest. That way, nothing you do is ever work, it's just fun.
