Has anyone ever hunted the colorado region in and around the Routt national forrest? We have been hunting Wyomng the past few years and decided to go to learn Colorado. We sure would like some advice on hunting these areas for Mule Deer.

I have heard that there are plenty of Elk to be found as well and we are hoping to scout these animals as well.

We are hunting the second rifle hunt.
