Welcome to the huntingNut.I'm not familiar with those tree stands. I have mostly used Loggy and API for climbers. I use alot of Ladder stands anymore. Who sells the North star stands ?.
Joe

Haven't used one of those. I have two API aluminum climbing stands that I really like.

I haven't heard of that one. As Joe said, who makes it?
I also have an API g-slam. It's getting old and in need of a replacement so I can't wait to see where this thread leads....
Everyone please give their opinions of tree stands

I haven't heard of North Star either. I have two climbing tree stands and I built both of them and they work great.

north star is the maker
I saw them at a shop here in Georgia and like what I saw but want to get more info. before I buy one
they have a belt that goes around the tree that looks like it would be an improvement over the chain and cable.

I have a Summit Viper climber and three ladder stands. Is this North Star steel or Aluminum? The weight makes the difference in my choice on a climber..

Welcome to HuntingNut Oshea....grab a beer mate, pull up a stump and sit awhile.
Check out Outdoor Supplies mate. They have a website that you can purchase through. They are a US company too...not Australian.
